Mindmanager is quite generous with creating new folders on your local drive. Some remain invisible, others nestle within your own Documents structure. Each MM version has its own folders. If you change the language of your MM, the name of some folders will also change. In short, a complicated whole with advantages and disadvantages.

The attached macro generates a simple mind map in which you see all used file folders listed, clickable. The mind map also contains links to the MM Online Manual and to the MM API documentation.
